What is my Videography Style?
My videography style is best described as a cinematic home movie - natural, nostalgic, and story-driven. I focus on capturing genuine moments, real emotions, and the little details that make your day uniquely yours, creating a film that feels authentic and timeless.
What makes my approach different is that I focus less on perfect poses and more on real memories. The laughter between friends, a parent's happy tears, the nervous excitement before the ceremony, and the quiet moments you might not even notice on the day. By blending authentic storytelling with cinematic visuals and professional audio, I create films that not only show what happened, but preserve how it felt.
Is a Videographer Really WOrth it?
THE ANSWER IS YES!!
Photos capture a moment. Film lets you step back into it.
Years from now, it wonβt just be about remembering what your wedding looked like. Itβll be hearing the voices again. Watching the way you looked at each other. Seeing the people you love move, laugh, dance and celebrate beside you.
The video beside this was filmed at my own parentsβ wedding in 1999. Decades later, I was able to take that old VHS footage and turn it into a wedding film β and it reminded me exactly why preserving your day on video is so incredibly special.
Your wedding film isnβt just for you right now. It becomes a time capsule. Something youβll watch on anniversaries, show your children, and one day look back on with a completely different kind of appreciation.
Trends will change. Years will pass. People will change.
But being able to press play and see it all again? That is priceless.
Your wedding day happens once. Film lets you relive it.
About Me!
Hi, Iβm Emma, a wedding videographer based in Denmark, Western Australia, capturing weddings and elopements throughout the Great Southern and beyond.
Iβve always had a love for film and the way it allows us to relive moments long after theyβve passed. Thereβs something incredibly special about being able to hear the voices, see the little glances, watch the movement and laughter, and experience a moment all over again β and thatβs what I want to preserve for every couple I work with.
My approach to wedding videography is best described as a cinematic home movie β natural, nostalgic, heartfelt and true to you. Rather than making your day feel like a production, I want you to enjoy your wedding while I capture it as it naturally unfolds. The big moments, of course, but also all the little ones in between that you may not even realise are happening.
My goal is to create a wedding film that doesnβt just look beautiful now, but becomes even more meaningful with time β something you can watch years from now and one day share with the generations that come after you.
As a solo videographer, youβll work directly with me from your first enquiry right through to receiving your finished films. I love being able to offer that personal experience and really get to know the couples who trust me to capture such an important day.
When Iβm not behind the camera, youβll usually find me reading, listening to music, enjoying a rainy day, gaming, or spending time out in nature. Iβve always been drawn to the little, meaningful moments in life β and I think that naturally carries into the way I film weddings.
At the end of the day, Iβm there to capture your people, your love, your memories and your day as it really felt.
